Wishing Fondren had a children's books section with age-appropriate armchairs and curtained window nooks right about now.
Someday when I have my own house, I'll be sure to have Matilda, Frederick, Frog & Toad, The Little House, The Secret Birthday Surprise, Wayside School, The Stinky Cheese Man, and all their friends around. :-)

less than one hundred days
"For I resolved to know nothing while I was with you except Jesus Christ and him crucified."

He gives me no choice
Whom have I in heaven but you?
And earth has nothing I desire besides you.
Psalm 73:25
You hem me in behind and before,
and you lay your hand upon me...
Where can I go from your Spirit?
Where can I flee from your presence?
If I go up to the heavens, you are there;
if I make my bed in the depths, you are there.
If I rise on the wings of the dawn,
if I settle on the far side of the sea,
even there your hand will guide me,
your right hand will hold me fast.
If I say, “Surely the darkness will hide me
and the light become night around me,”
even the darkness will not be dark to you;
the night will shine like the day,
for darkness is as light to you.
And earth has nothing I desire besides you.
Psalm 73:25
You hem me in behind and before,
and you lay your hand upon me...
Where can I go from your Spirit?
Where can I flee from your presence?
If I go up to the heavens, you are there;
if I make my bed in the depths, you are there.
If I rise on the wings of the dawn,
if I settle on the far side of the sea,
even there your hand will guide me,
your right hand will hold me fast.
If I say, “Surely the darkness will hide me
and the light become night around me,”
even the darkness will not be dark to you;
the night will shine like the day,
for darkness is as light to you.

called to be victors in a race already won
"Not that I have already obtained this or am already perfect, but
I press on to make it my own,
because Christ Jesus
has made me his own."
Phil 3:12
What a promise, what a victory.
